埼玉県越谷市、花田苑・こしがや能楽堂とキャンベルタウン野鳥の森で1/1・2無料開園（開館）

埼玉県越谷市にある「日本庭園 花田苑」、「日本文化伝承の館 こしがや能楽堂」、「キャンベルタウン野鳥の森」では、1月1日（祝）・2日（火）の2日間無料開園されます。散策や休息ができる憩いの場として気軽に利用可能。初詣にお出かけの際などにゆっくりと散歩してみてはいかが。

花田苑は、敷地面積21,290平方メートル の日本文化の伝統を備えた重みのある廻遊式池泉庭園。苑内には茶室や木橋及び築山などが備えられており、情緒あふれるスポットです。また隣接するこしがや能楽堂は、全国でも数少ない屋外能楽堂。日本文化の美と四季折々の風情をお楽しみください。

■キャンベルタウン野鳥の森
1995年9月にオーストラリアのキャンベルタウン市との姉妹都市提携10周年を記念して、オーストラリアの「自然」に親しみ理解することを願って開設された、総面積5,350平方メートルの施設。
メインである約3,000平方メートル のバードケージの中では、オーストラリアのキャンベルタウン市から寄贈されたオウム類のキバタンやクルマサカオウム、オカメインコなどを展示されています。そのほか、ワラビーの仲間であるアカクビワラビー、エミューのエリアなども楽しめます。
